The West closed up the season by being pretty tough as well, the water is of course very low and from the recent reports we've had it seems like the fish have been few and far between. Starting tomorrow the section from the bridge on Hwy 395 downstream to Topaz Lake will remain open for catch and release fishing with artificial flies and lures with barbless hooks. This means there's still some opportunity to get into some cold weather fishing on that section! We'll try to keep you informed of reports as we get them.
