Trout Fishing is Good

Fishing is starting to pick up at Lafayette. Our extensive stocking program has put 11,350 pounds of trout in Lafayette so far this trout season. As the weather seems more spring like, the Fish are starting to react.

Ed Warren on 1/25/15 pulled out a 4.15Lb Rainbow Trout at Harry Cove with Power bait.
Effren Tumbaga Jr on 1/24/2016 caught a 10.3Lb Trout using Powerbait from the shore by the cove.

And numerous others relaying their catches.
