Effective Jan. 1, from Klondike Creek upstream to Pomeroy Dam the Illinois is open for wild steelhead at least 24" in length, 1 per day and 5 per year, as part of daily or annual salmon/steelhead bag limit. The Illinois is currently blown out and fishing may not resume until this weekend or next week. Please remember the Illinois is artificial flies and lures only and will close to steelhead angling March 31.

Consult the 2016 Oregon Sport Fishing Regulations for more regulation information. Nonadipose fin-clipped rainbow trout and all cutthroat trout must be immediately released unharmed.
