Winding Down

Trinity River - Douglas City, CA

Releases from Lewiston Lake are steady at 322 cfs. The last storm muddied up the tributaries, most of the fish have entered the main stem, gone up the tributaries, spawned and left. We believe the season is winding down, but there is still the chance for some good dry fly fishing for both Brown trout and the occasional steelhead. Don't forget: April 1st the Fly Only section opens, some great dry fly action happens there!
