We had an absolute blast fishing today with our Private Charter put together by Loc Tran. We headed to the Hollister Ranch today with beautiful weather and very nice conditions. Our 26 anglers experienced very steady fishing on nice quality Reds,Coppers and Big Brown Rockfish in the morning. Later in the day we had some productive fishing on good quality 2.75-3.5lb whitefish as well and the gang worked very well together to put a great score together. The Rockfish today were eager to eat the standard double dropper loop rig with Squid or Anchovie and a 10-12 oz sinker. The whitefish ate the smaller 2/0 hooks with a thin strip of Squid the best. As always the crew and I had a blast fishing with Loc and his group and look forward to having them back for another trip soon. Our 26 anglers ended up with 144 beautiful Reds, 115 Rockfish, 103 Whitefish, 5 Lingcod, 1 Cabezon and a Sheephead. Tomorrow both boats have availability. The Stardust has a 3/4 Day Trip leaving at 7am and the Coral Sea has only a few spots left for there 1/2 Day trip leaving at 9am.
