Just checking in from our open party 6-day. We all enjoyed having the day off for Thanksgiving but now we're back at it again. Left Friday with great weather and a healthy load of 5-7" Sardines. Check in at Ensenada was smooth and we were on our way to the island. Our crossing was as nice as could be and made great speed. We arrived mid day and it didn't take long to locate our first school. We put the anchor down and shortly after we had fishing blowing out all around us. It turned out to be quite the busy afternoon as we landed 16 Yellowfin from 80-130#. We made a short move to the bait making grounds and we were rewarded with a couple nice tanks of greenies. We stayed put for the night and woke up Sunday to fish around the boat. It didn't take long and we started hanging fish. The fish kept us busy the entire day with 3-5 fish going at a time. By the end of the day we had totaled 76 Yellowfin from 60-150#. Great fishing for our first whole day. We hope this is a continuing trend. Check in with you later in the trip.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8030 to get in on the action.

Just checking in here with a recap from our Rice Bowl 6 day brought to you by Fred Morioka. This was a dedicated Guadalupe Island trip. We had steady fishing on good grade yellowfin and yellowtail. The majority of our yellowfin were from 80-130 pounds. The 100# Fluoro was the key to success. Fun fishing on the yellowtail with the grade being 18-25 pounds. Guadalupe fish count 34 yellowfin, and 65 yellowtail. On the ride home we stumbled across a...... Read More
