Heading in from Santa Rosa island. The weather was good in the afternoon and windy in the morning.

We fished in the deeper water in the morning caught some really nice Chuck’s but the numbers were not adding up. In that deeper water the current started moving way to fast to fish effectively as well.  We went shallow for the last half of the day and worked out very well. We had a mixed bag of rock fish and a few Ling cod. The squid and anchovy work the best and, not much on the jigs.

Our 25 anglers caught 239 rockfish, 13 lingcod, 5 ocean whitefish.

The coral sea is running three-quarter day tomorrow and Wednesday with lots of room on both. The Stardust is running half-day tomorrow and Wednesday as well. To make a reservation you can book online or call the Sea Landing ‭(805) 963-3564‬

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (805) 963-3564 to get in on the action
