With the wife working weekends, I decided to run over to Santa Barbara and fo a 3/4 day trip aboard the Stardust on Saturday. The weather looked good and the seas were flat on the drive up the 101. We ended up with 34 anxious anglers, looking forward to a great day. We were not disappointed, Capt Luke put us on some really healthy spots and we were soon filling our bags with some nice Reds, Chuckleheads and Blue rockfish. The weather was hot, the seas were flat and the fish were willing to bite, what a day. The crew we kept busy running up and down the boat taking off fish and bagging them. Our final count for the day was 298 Rockfish, 38 Whitefish and 1 Lingcod (which was the jackpot). It was another great day aboard the Stardust. Give them a call at 805-963-3564 and make your reservations for a great day of fishing with on of the best crews around, you won't be disappointed. If you would like any of these pictures you can email me at [email protected] and I will forward them to you.
