The trout fishing at Pardee Reservoir has been fantastic with shoreline anglers getting the best action. Easy limits was the rule in the 13” to 14” rainbow trout. The best baits providing the best action were PowerBait, Power Eggs, Pistol Pete lures, nightcrawlers and salmon eggs for a mixture of holdover rainbows. The big fish of the week weighed in at 8 pounds. Trollers had success using hot steel Rapalas near the surface and with hooch’s tipped with white corn in 25 feet of water. Information: (209) 772-1472.
