At the West End of Santa Cruz , our Island Spirit reported a slow morning bite that had improved by the afternoon. The Amigo fished 6-20 fathoms at San Miguel Island; the water is chilly at 52 degrees and is still dirty from recent wind. The water conditions made for tougher fishing, however, the weather was calm and very enjoyable. 3 Boats, 69 Anglers, 106 Ocean Whitefish, 587 Rockfish, 21 Lingcod, 1 Rock Sole, 4 California Sheephead, 10 Sculpin.
