Just a quick couple of pic’s today as we plug along putting the newly rebuilt generator back together piece by piece. We should have her up and running tomorrow. If all goes well we will decide about a trip this weekend by tomorrow evening. Stay tuned…

Photos today feature Captain Paul Caramao “under the hood” tightening up the rod bearings and the top of the block with new pistons and liners installed ready for the head to be bolted down.

We had a tough day yesterday, very challenging. In the face of an insurmountable mechanical problem with one of our two generators, we had to make a very difficult decision. Mazatlan is 2018 is done - cancelled at the last minute due to mechanical failure of a generator engine that will need to be completely rebuilt.
