Last month, the pond was abuzz with activity with students visiting from local schools for Reel Fish Days. Next month, this pond will host a free fishing weekend event for youth anglers and their families on June 3. May is a good time to grab your tackle box and teach your youth angler to fish for rainbow trout. Anglers fishing spinners, flies, and bobber and worms all have been doing well. Oregon State Parks manages Arizona Pond for youth angling ages 17 and under.
