Captain David Yamori aboard the Chubasco2 on a half day trip has called in with a very nice halibut of 23lbs. They have also hooked several others but where not able to put them on board. The last couple of weeks the passengers aboard the half day trips have had a chance of catching a very nice halibut along with bass, rockfish, sculpin and white fish.

Catching a few with limits of fun

The Chubasco2 had a nice day of bottom fishing returning home with 139 white fish and 2 calico bass for only 17 anglers on a half day trip. The Sea Star on a private charter fishing only with hook up baits (No live bait on this trip) caught a nice mixture of fish which included calico bass, sand bass, rockfish and a couple of short white seabass. Nice mixed bag fishing with a few more Halibut

The Chubasco2 and the Pronto both on half day trips today had nice mixed bag fishing for calico bass, sand bass, whitefish and once again each boat had two halibut apiece. Things are starting to look up as the ocean has laid down and the water has cleaned up and warmed up.
