Fish and Trip Report Update

The full day trip aboard the Mission Belle reported in with 17 Yellowtail, 18 Bonito, 20 Calico Bass, 4 Rockfish and one Lingcod for 10 passengers. The Yellows were all 12 to 20 lbs. This trip does require a valid passport or passport card to board the boat.
The ½ day trip aboard the Daily Double returned with 55 Rockfish, 14 Sculpin, 7 Whitefish and 5 Sand Bass for 24 passengers. Tomorrow’s departure time is 8:30 am.
Upcoming 1½ day & Overnight Trips:
The Dominator departs Friday night for an overnight trip. This trip will be headed offshore looking for Bluefin and Yellowtail. Ticket price is $215 and includes your Mexican fishing permit and bunk. No passport needed for any of these trips!
The El Capitan departs Friday night for an offshore 1.5 day trip. The cost is $420 per passenger. The trip is limited to 18 anglers and includes food. No passport needed for any of these trips!
Upcoming ½ day & Full Day Trips:
The month May is “Kids Fish Free” with one full paid adult fare! The Daily Double is scheduled daily at 8:30 am for 1/2 day trips to the local kelp beds and other hot spots. Saturdays they run 2 trips with the second trip leaving at 3:00pm and returning at 8:30pm. Ticket price is $50 for adults, $40 for seniors or active duty military and $35 for juniors 15 and under. California fishing license and equipment rentals are extra.
The Mission Belle is scheduled daily for their full day trip at 6:00 am fishing at the Coronado Islands in Mexico. This trip will be targeting Yellowtail, Bonito, Bass and Rockfish. Ticket price includes your Mexican fishing license and tourist visa. A valid passport or passport card is required for all passengers going on this trip.
The Point Loma will be offering “local” ¾ day trips starting on Saturday June 2nd. Ticket prices are $85.00 for adults and $75.00 for juniors, seniors and active duty military. This trip will be fishing the local kelp beds and other hot spots in California. Departure time is 6:30am with a return time around 4:30pm. A California fishing license will be additional. No passport required for this trip.
