Catching the Spotlight

We had another great week of fishing! The catfish bite has been consistent with many reports of fish on shrimp and mackerel. The bass bite continues to heat up with the warmer weather. I am getting many reports of bass on a variety of baits such as drop shots, spooks, and swimbaits. The best time for these fish are in the early morning and late evening. The bluegill have made more of an appearance now and can be seen swimming along the shoreline in search of food. If you have pictures of your catch at the Lakes, please feel free to email them to me at rimbimbo@padre.org with your name, lake you caught the fish in, and the bait you used.

Join us on Thursday, June 14th for our first Night Fishing event of the season. Come out from 5:00 PM to 11:30 PM for a great night of fishing. Lanterns required after sunset and no radios please.
