Good fishing for us today folks despite sloppy conditions.  We got off the dock this morning with a full boat and headed across to the western most part of Santa Rosa Island for our day.

The southeast wind made for a choppy ride out however in the late morning the wind backed off and we were able to stay busy on nice quality Rockfish and a sampling of Lingcod.   The squid strips worked the best today for the Rockfish and the live Sardine worked for the lingcod.  With the wind against current we had most of the day our production suffered at times due to the tangles however our group stuck with it and we put together a nice day.

Our 40 anglers ended the day with 153 Vermillion Rockfish, 136 Coppers, 67 Assorted Rockfish and 23 Lingcod.

The Stardust has a room 1/2 Day fishing Monday and Tuesday in the coral sea has space available 3/4 day fishing Monday through Wednesday.  Please call the Sea Landing at 805 963-3564 for a reservation or visit our website to book online.
