Stardust is heading in from Santa Rosa Island from our 3/4 day trip. We had a flat clam ocean all day today. We battled some current in the deeper water but managed some really good drifts where we caught lots of nice reds and coppers with other mixed rockfish.

The best bait today was the anchovy and squid strips with some nice fish caught on the artificial’s also.  We had some of the most amazing blue whale sightings today, the most whales I’ve ever seen in one day. Over all it was an awesome day for both fishing and wild life. Sorry for the lack of pictures the crew was very busy today.

For our 35 anglers we ended the day with limits for everyone including 178 reds, 62 coppers and 110 assorted rockfish.
