Hello everyone;

We departed on the Hi’s 7 day adventure. With 33 happy anglers, we have a good load of bait and we are headed for points south. With a few new comer to the boat this should be a very fun trip. Weather is just beautiful, with slight overcast, and pinch of sunshine, with 5 to 8 knots of wind. We finished our last trip with a blast. We had 22 Bluefin tuna in the 25 to 35 pound range. It was a very good finish for the trip.

We ended up fishing until we could not see the fish on the surface any more. It was very impressive to see that much Bluefin, only 25 miles for San Diego.

We would like to thank a few sponsors for this trip. Thank you to Hi’s tackle, Williamson Lures, and Tady Lures. We would also like to thank Louis Matsumura for being an outstanding charter-head. So until tomorrow, wish us luck.

The kids are getting older, and better at fishing. I’ve seen them start out afraid to touch a...... Read More
