Nice day of fishing up the coast today for our group of 29 anglers.

We started our day out in deeper water and had instant action on nice Reds, Coppers and a few groupers.  After a nice jump start the fishing slowed down considerably for about an hour as we hopped rock to rock picking away at nice quality.  Our last hour we spent fishing a little shallower and had a nice ending to our trip with good action to fill our bags.   He live anchovy was by far the top producing bait today.

Our 29 anglers ended the day with 197  Reds, 21 Coppers, 18 Grouper, 54 Assorted Rockfish, 1 Sandbass and 1 Lingcod.

The next trip with room on the Stardust are 1/2 Day Trips Monday- Wednesday.  Please call Sea Landing at 805 963-3564 for a reservation or visit our website to book online.

Just talked to Jeff and he reported good fishing offshore yesterday on good grade Yellowtail 18-25#. Today while traveling up the line they passed through another kelp area which were holding Dorado. They managed to get a couple of handfuls before running out time. They are presently headed home and expect to arrive at 0530. Judy will start sign-in at about 0600. When you come up to sign-in make sure to bring your passport with you. See you tomorrow. ...... Read More
