This fish are back. We have had good reports from fisherman this week. Bass, trouts, kedears and blue gills, lots have been caught this week. The weekends have been very busy for fishing a SLB bass was reported 07-15-2008.

Rate of the action over the past week:

Bass: Excellent Avg. Size: 5 lbs.
Bluegill: Excellent Avg. Size: 1-2 lbs.
Carp: Fair Avg. Size: Small
Catfish: Excellent Avg. Size: 6 lbs.
Crappie: Good Avg. Size: 1 lb.
Redear: Good Avg. Size: 1 lb.
Trout: Fair Avg. Size: 2 lbs.

Fishing has been good this week overall and lots of blue gill caught. The weekend was busy for for trout and catfish lots of reports from the back side of the island. Happy 4th of July. This has been a great holiday weekend for fishing lots of fish caught of all types, bluegill is still the best catch, trout is doing great, a lot of bass reproted, still little reported on red ear and carp.
