The water temperature is 77-78 degrees, water level is slightly down this past week. Last Stock of Catfish was September 14th, 2018, 400 pounds. Striper: Slow Action: Striper bite has been slow catching these beauties over at the inlet/dam area, using cut mackerels, shad and chicken livers. Blue Gill: Medium Action: Bluegills have been seen across from the Marina using any small type of worms, meal worms work best! Catfish: High Action: This week there has been plenty of cats being caught over at ramp 2 and also ramp 1, coves and catfish alley, hitting on chicken livers, mackerels, and anchovies. Catfish season is coming to an end. The final stock of Catfish will be September 2821, 2018, 400 pounds! Large Mouth: Slow Action: The largemouth bass are over on the north shore and across from the marina, try catching them on purple and green robo worms and night crawlers. Trout: No Action. Carp: No Action: Catch and release is a great thing to practice to insure the species a healthy abundant environment to keep on producing for many more years of fun here.
