Heading in from Santa Rosa Island. We had a steady breeze all day, making for good fishing conditions. We covered a lot of ground today in defense to the amount of mackerel around, but once we got away we had clean, steady fishing on quality rockfish in the shallows. Very few fish on artificial baits, with squid making up for a majority of our catch. Fun fishing for our guys today, and everyone is taking home a good bag of fish.
Our trip total for our 20 anglers consist of, 144 Assorted Rockfish, 128 Ocean Whitefish, and 5 lingcod to round out the bags.
