Fishing has been great over the past week for all species, biting on various baits throughout the day. Trout were planted late last week and anglers have been catching them over the weekend using little lures and nightcrawlers or powerbait. Stripers have also been biting well, using sardines or chicken liver, some even had luck trolling around rocky points of the lake as well. Bass have been biting both from shore and throughout coves around the lake, mainly on plastic, weedless baits or nightcrawlers. Hot spots from shore for stripers and trout have been along the canal by the front booth, and also along the rocks in front of the boat shop.
