The Bluefin bite started slow this morning but around mid-day the ENDEAVOR found a willing school and quickly put on 30 Bluefin and had multiple fish going. The fish were 40-70 pounds.

Bluefin tuna continue to bite and are now mixed with a better grade of Yellowfin tuna also. The Bluefin and Yellowfin have been biting the fly-lined sardine with some tuna being hooked on the flat-fall and yo-yo'd jigs. The fish have been mostly 30-50 pounders with some approaching 80 pounds. The jumbos are still around also so bring the heavy gear too. UPDATE The Aztec is in on the action, and has 54 bluefin on the boat! The Tribute has 22 bluefin on the boat, with fish ranging up to 70 pounds! The Endeavor has 30 bluefin on the boat for their 17 anglers! The fish are mostly in the 40-60# range, with fish up to 80 pounds....... Read More
