The Striper bite has been consistent from shore throwing out frozen baits along the rip rap in front of the boat shop and along the canal by the entrance booth.  Anchovies and nightcrawlers have been working well off the rocks and the points past the swim beach over the past week in the colder weather.  Bass are still being caught mainly on soft plastic baits along the bottom of coves and off of the rocky points throughout the lake.  A lot of anglers have been using jigs and the drop shot to fish the bottom of various areas nice and slow during these winter conditions.
