Currently flows have increased to around 2,300 cfs as of Feb. 25 and should stay in fairly good shape all week. There are still a few summer steelhead in the river at the moment, most of these above Waterloo. Over 9,000 fish have navigated up Willamette Falls and a fair number of these have made it into the South Santiam. Just over 1,390 summer steelhead have entered the ladder at Foster as of Nov. 19.

Summer steelhead can be found throughout the upper basin below Foster Reservoir, especially above Waterloo Park. Fishing is generally best below 3,000 cfs.
