Today’s Fish Count: 11 Boat and 248 Anglers.
2,325 Rockfish, 1,199 Whitefish, 42 Lingcod, 27 Sheephead, 5 Cabezon, 5 Sculpin, and 1 Sole.
Sunday’s boats caught the highest numbers of fish so far this season. The entire fleet was out on the water and fishing both the inner and outer islands for rock cod. Most caught there limit of Rockfish with some Sheephead and Lingcod mixed in. The Whitefish has been nonstop, going way back to the beginning of last season. One difference is the Whitefish the boats are catching are much bigger this year. The likelihood of bringing home a big bag of fillets is very good this time of year!
