Trout: On March 23rd, the lake was stocked with 1,500 lbs. of trout. The recent rain has led to poor water visibility we recommend using bright or florescent baits for this upcoming week. Try using bright-colored mini jigs, gold or silver Kastmasters, and peach salmon power bait. The lake will be stocked again on April 6th with 1,500 lbs. of trout.

Catfish: Catfish bite has picked up significantly with anglers having luck all around the lake. We recommend renting a motorboat when targeting this species. Hot spots have been Boulder Bay, Beach Area, and the Buoy Line. Try using Mackerel, Worms, or Stink Baits on a Carolina rig.

Angler of the Month: There is a monthly opportunity to win two fishing permits and a full day motorboat. To enter, weigh in your largest caught fish at the boat dock (dock scale must be used by city staff). Prizes will be given away each month in the following categories: Catfish and Trout. Prizes for Bass will not be given in March and April! https://poway.org/1107/Angler-of-the-Month

Due to spawning season in March and April, Bass will be catch and release only. *Dates subject to change*

Water Temperature: 58°
