The road is open to the lake right now but can close at any time due to snow. The lake has small brook trout. Most anglers either use flys or salmon eggs on the campground end of the lake.

Blue Lake Lower: The fishing has been fair to good for catchable rainbows
West Carson River (CA): The river is a low spot now, as of this week it was running at 70 CFS
East Carson River (CA): The river was running at 270 CFS this week
Indian Creek Reservoir: No fishing is advised right now
Topaz Lake: The lake level has been fluctuating
