Riviera Marina Fishing Report

Colorado River - Laughlin - Laughlin, NV

We've been catching some of our larger stripers along the shore of the Colorado River. Local angler Charles Viajar recently had a successful fishing outing downriver near the Parkway Bridge. He was in his kayak, using a Youzari Minnow to land some nice-sized stripers. These stripers varied in size, with the largest weighing 10.68 pounds and measuring 30 and 1/4 inches, the second one at 9.9 pounds and 31 inches, and the third at 6.14 pounds and 26 and 3/4 inches.

The area around the Nature Center is excellent for fishing, and our Rotary Park has also seen some trout action. Additionally, Community Park is producing a few stripers, particularly during this time of year when water levels are conducive for shore fishing. Community Park recently received a trout stocking from the Willow Beach Hatchery, so anglers have had success catching rainbows and some of our larger stripers in that area.

The recent windy conditions have kept most anglers away from Lake Mohave, so there hasn't been much fishing activity reported. However, this is expected to change as we transition into nicer weather. We look forward to welcoming trout anglers and hearing their stories.

Thank you for your continued support. We hope this information is helpful. Now, go catch a fish!
