The Nestucca gets one of the North Coast's largest releases of hatchery winter steelhead and those fish are showing up. Hatchery steelhead on the Nestucca are from wild broodstock and as such peak January through March, so it is still early in the run but there should be at least a few fish throughout the fishery. The best fishing will likely still be in the lower mainstem
