California Aqueduct: The striped bass bite has started to pick up
Castaic Lake: Castaic held at 79 percent of its storage capacity, and fishing has been good
Pyramid Lake, CA: The lake rose to 90 percent of capacity, and bass anglers reported decent fishing
Lake Isabella: Excellent crappie action the past few days
Kern River: Holdovers and natives have been found along the 20-mile stretch

• Striped bass ate cut sardines and jumbo live minnows after check gates
Castaic Lake: Anglers reported better fishing in the Fish Arm of the lake
Pyramid Lake, CA: Pyramid Lake rose to 88 percent of capacity, and fishing was decent last week
Lake Isabella: The crappie bit has been excellent his week
Kern River: At the Upper Kern River, the warmer weather has raised the flows a bit
Lake Kaweah: The lake rose to 32 percent of its storage capacity, and the bass bite continued to improve
Lake Success: The lake rose to 56 percent of its capacity, and fishing continued to improve
River Walk Lakes: The trout action has slowed down but continue to show
Ming Lake: The warmer weather and water are bringing the Bass up to their beds
