It has been quite a sporadic week at this lake. Redear Trout and even Bass have been prominent but only in obscure clusters. Mainly around Lots 11 & 12, the Launch and Marina Cove have the Bass & Trout been biting from shore with Redworms and Nightcrawler Redear hitting best off of Marina Dock with Redworms or Crickets.
The following are the fish ratings:
Bass: Fair with an average size of 3.7 lb
Bluegill: Poor
Carp: Poor
Catfish: Poor
Crappie: Poor
Redear: Fair with an average size of .5 - 1 lb
Trout: Good with an average size of 2.25 lbs

It seems that our sunny weather the past week has benefited our anglers to the fullest with the variety of fiosh slowly increasing. Our most promising spots have been Lots 11 & 12 (for Trout), Launch Ramp Cove (for Trout and Largemouth Bass)and the Marina Cove for all three species. Lake Perris has had "terrible fishing weather" the past week. Only the few exremely die-hard anglers showed obscurely, with no luck anyways. Only on Saturday did any fish come up; Trout out of the Launch Ramp Cove and the Marina off of Nightcrawlers.
