It's time to go fishing, leaving tomorrow on Q105

Talk about fired up.The wind has been blowing for a month and only the Alijos yellowtail and everywhere rockfish have really been biting, save the occasional seabass flurry at the Cat, but I can't wait to get on the Qualifier 105 Saturday with some of my tightest bros in the world and just go fishing.

No matter the hell of diving into the pile of mixed and mis-matched tackle that comes from a love of fishing anywhere and for anything. But, dude, calico bass are my favorite fish. Unless it's yellowtail, and both are the target and who the heck knows what Mother Nature will bring in the next week?

I just know I'm bringing everything from a great book to the latest topwater tackle -- Shimano's got the Waxwing covered, providing each skiff with two setups -- my computer, camera etc. But the best part is I get to hang with my best buds where we like to hang the most. Up tight to the best fishing in the world.
