This weekend was a good weekend for fishing at Brite Lake, this week will be even better

Brite Lake was stocked with 1,000 lbs. of trout on 12/16. We just got notification that Brite Lake had another stocking today for an additional 1,100 lbs. of trout. Better yet 500 of those lbs. are trophy sized fish.

22 inch Rainbows are being taken at Brite Lake

Last Stocking Date: December 6, 2011 Next Stocking Date: December 18, 2011 Fishermen have been catching 5.5 to 6 lb. Rainbows, some have measured as much as 22 inches. Now that's dinner! The water district has been aerating the lakebed. This helps prevent the growth of moss later in the year. Camping is available through out the year. A fish cleaning station is available year around.
