Lower Otay Reservoir hosted a few Bass club events this weekend. American Bass Association held an event on the 18th. The largest fish weighed in at 6.5 lbs. and the best stringer weighed 11 lbs. The fishermen were not identified.

The RoadRangers Bass club of Lemon Grove held their event on the 19th. Mike Laub won the event and caught five fish with a total weight of 12.8 lbs. His largest fish weighed 3.4 lbs. The largest fish of the day was caught by Jason Clar whose prize fish weighed 4.7 lbs. A total of 28 Anglers competed in this event. One of the RoadRanger Winners is shown in the main photo

Another Bass Club in San Diego held an event on the 18th. The largest fish were 7.6 lbs., 2.1 lbs. and 2.0 lbs. The largest stringers were 7.6 lbs., 6.2 lbs. and 3.0 lbs. The names of the fishermen were not disclosed.

Among the fishing regulars at Upper Otay, Mike Williams caught a 20.2 lb. Catfish, see photo #1 and Tome Pristley caught 1 Bluegill, the Bluegill weighed 1.5 lbs. and 2 Crappie the largest of which also weighed 12.5 lbs. see photo #2.

This past Saturday the Point Seekers Bass Club Tournament was held and 11 boats with 22 anglers were involved. Several nice stringers were caught and the largest bass caught was a reported 4 lbs.
