Capt Gerry catches 11 Salmon for 6 Anglers fishing amongst the whales and birds

Captain Gerry called in with this report for the Doble, "Today we had 6 Anglers on the boat and they caught 11 King Salmon up to 20 lbs. We had to release a couple, we also had to release a couple Silver Salmon. Conditions were flat calm in the morning and as usual we get that 12:00 o'clock blow in the afternoon.
"One thing I would advise is to fish the whales and the birds. They are feeding on the same thing the Salmon are feeding on which is krill. Every time we got into the whales and birds we got a hook up."
