BASS
The bass bite has been phenomenal! Anglers are catching many bass between 3-12 pounds! The bass are in the 15-30 ft range. Drop shotting purple, pink and brown colored plastics works best for catching bass. Senko's are also working great! Gabriel Diaz of Nuevo caught a 9.40 pound bass using a senko near the west dam!


STRIPER
Anglers are catching few stripers between 4-5 pounds. The best time to fish for striper is the week of a trout stock. When shad and trout are breaking the surface, it's best to use lures that mimic them for top water boils.


CATFISH
There has been a few catfish caught between 4-6 pounds. Stink bait and cut bait work best for catfish.


PANFISH
There were no reports of panfish caught this week. Night crawlers and mealworms work best.


TROUT
Anglers are still catching trout between 4-7 pounds! Powerbait, night crawlers and mini jigs work best fortrout. 13 year old Michael Cochran of Palm Desert caught a 6.49 pound trout using a rapala!
