Stripers have returned!! Anglers have begun catching large Striped Bass while kayak fishing. Spin baits, Krocodiles, and plastic worms seem to be doing very well. Stripers in the 8-15 lb range have been pulled onto kayaks regularly this week. The low water levels have created a haven for kayak anglers as there is little to no competition with motor boats. Paddlers used to be confined to no wake zones, but now, with no launch ramps the entire lake is open to paddlers. Grab your kayaks and go tip some oversized lips!
