Chris Ries from Danville was fishing in a cove from his kayak and caught 3 Bass and a 4 lb. 4 oz. trout on a Rapala. The Bass are very active right now says Olin Robertson from Chula Vista, he sent me his picture of his 4 Bass he caught on soft bait which is a 5? rubber worm. He said they liked the color green with the orange tail the best.

Yesterday we received a double plant of trout from a private hatchery and some of them looked to be over 5 lbs. Ivan from Martinez hooked a 3 lb. 8 oz. and a 2 lb. 12 oz. trout trolling with worms. Renee Morgan from Vacaville trolled an orange Needlefish and hooked 3 beautiful trout.

Jesco Nicola brought in 4 huge trout which he caught off our sand beach on green PowerBait. The biggest trout this week a 4 lb. 5 oz. was caught by Robert Zimmer on HIS BIRTHDAY!! He was trolling out of Elmer's Cove with a Rapala about 15? down he said. Patrick Farley from Discovery Bay fished near the power lines using PowerBait and caught his two trout over two pounds!

Glenda & Dawn were trolling near the dam with a fly and each caught a trout. Now hear is one I've never heard before, Ken Borello & Vern Harms caught their 7 trout and a bass on (fish chow trolling flies)!! Nick & James Palmer stopped to get a father & son photo with their big trout ( a 2 lb. 12 oz. Rainbow)!! They fished with green PowerBait near the dam.

Vern Davis from Grass Valley trolled near the dam on worms and flashers and landed a 3 lb. 4 oz. trout. Patrick O'Dell and Cheryl Schembari caught 3 trout, a bass, and 2 sunfish on worms or PowerBait all over the lake. Hal & Ramona took home two trout limits which they caught on PowerBait from their boat. Another limit of trout went to Miranda Archer who also trolled all over but she used a flasher and nightcrawler.

Wayne Taniguchi from Woodland was casting rubber worms and caught two trout. Bob & Elaine Goines from Loma Rica took home two limits of trout on Wed. 4/30 which they hooked off nightcrawlers and lead core line. Jerry McCowen from Lincoln also limits on Rainbows using worms.
