BASS
The bass bite remains consistent! Anglers are catching many bass between 2-7 pounds. The bass are in the 10-20 ft range. Drop shotting purple, and pink colored plastics works best for catching bass. Senko's and crank baits are also working great!

STRIPER
Anglers are catching few stripers between 4-5 pounds. Cut bait and Trolling with flies works best for catching striper. When shad and trout are breaking the surface, it's best to use lures that mimic them for top water boils.

CATFISH
There were many reports of catfish caught this week between 4-10 pounds! Stink bait and cut bait work best for catfish. Curtis Hoyt of Hemet caught a 9.78 pound catfish off shoreline using a night crawler!

PANFISH
Anglers are catching many panfish 1 pound and under! Night crawlers and mealworms work best for catching panfish. Edgar Sanchez of Hemet caught two bluegill and a redear off shoreline! The biggest was 1.39 pounds and the total weight was 3.32 pounds!

TROUT
There were no reports of trout caught this week. Typical bait for trout is Powerbait, night crawlers and mini jigs.
