Gallatin River Fish Report

The Gallatin will see some Baetis fishing on the overcast days. This river is fickle, especially during this time of year when the water is so cold. The best Baetis fishing will be found in the slow pockets of the park stretch. If you don't find fish rising try nymphing with a rubberlegs and a small mayfly nymph. As usual there is no need to fish here until after noon. You may find some productive streamer fishing in the evening.
