Jess Ranch Lake Fish Report Location: Jess Ranch Lakes by Jess Ranch Lakes Staff
Eastern winds and warmers temps slowed the bite a bit for most anglers. Power Bait ( especially garlic,
salmon peach, red-white & blue, and nymph), night crawlers, jigs and lures ( especially yellow/orange Power
Worms, Lip Ripperz and Mammoth Magics) all caught trout. Hot spots include the Grassy Point and eastern
logged shore of lake 3 as well as the northern and eastern shores of lake 3. Catfish continue be strong on
mackerel, night crawlers and power bait. Hot spots for catfish include the western shore near the pump
house of lake 3 and the eastern shore of lake 2.
Catches of the Week: Kris Lawson of Rialto caught a 4 lbs 2 ozs rainbow on a white crappie jig from the
eastern shore of lake 3. Mark Timmons of Rancho Cucamonga reeled in a 3 lbs 6 ozs trout on garlic Power
Bait while fishing the northern shore of lake 3. Green Valley angler, Jim Bonn scored a 9 lbs 1 ozs rainbow
on a peach jig while fishing the north shore of lake 3. Matt Thomas of Riverside caught a 4 lbs 15 ozs
rainbow on Lip Ripperz from the Grassy Point of Lake 3.
