Water Level: Holding steady high but will be dropping all week
The hot summer days appear to be behind us this past week. Try fishing the early morning and late evening hours for better chances of picking up the catfish bite since night fishing is over.
Not much action around the lake, but angler pressure has been quite low. The bass action has been best early then slowing after 10 AM.
Boat rental rates will be $35 for All Day motor boats, $30 for Half Day motors. Row boats rates are $17 All Day and $14 for Half Day.
Trout action will start here Wednesday. We expect another nice year of stocking those “Tail Walkers” from Chaulk Mound Trout Ranch from Nebraska.
