The water temperature is 66 degrees.

Striper: Medium action
Strong flow from the inlet has made this the Striper hang out, and can be caught on shad, white jigs, anchovies, lug worms and mackerel.

Blue Gill: Medium - High action

Blue gill are very active and are doing well using red worms, wax worms night crawlers and plastic worms over at ramp 1 area and across from the marina. We also are now selling live crickets down at the marina.

Catfish: Medium - High Action
Catfish getting active with the water warming up. Anglers have been successful this week catching cats over in ramp 2 area, bait that has been successful this week is mackerels. Cats can be caught on chicken livers, anchovies, and gulp baits, they are on the prowl and be caught just about any part of the lake.

Largemouth: High Action
Sight fishing due to the clear waters in the shallows, they are spawning ,males very protective right now but can be caught on white jigs, roboworms, on any dark worm.

Carp: High action
Big carp ready to catch, easy and fun. Use your favorite carp dough balls, along the banks or under heavy cover.

The water temperature is 64 degrees. Striper: Low Action No Striper bite except with lead core line, 50 feet down, fly fishing or deep trolling.
