This weeks Fish Report is dedicated to the kids of Summer as it was our young or young at heart anglers who hauled in some really nice fish this past holiday week. It was a very busy week here at Silver Lake Resort as we received 800 pounds of DFW fish on Monday, 400 pounds of 3 to 5 pounders from Desert Springs out of Oregon on Tuesday. Friday was our big Horseshoe Tournament and BBQ where all the proceeds went towards the Chris Jones Memorial Scholarship. Eric and Stephen Schindler came in first place in the horseshoe Tournament with Dick Anderson and Terry Schultz came in second and Bill and Emily LLoyd came in third place. Thanks to everyone for all the fun and support. We also had "Good Livin" playing some great music last night for everyone to enjoy in the RV park. A very busy weekend but fun for all!!!

Fishing, thanks to those nice loads of fish early in the week sure did pick up despite the warmer weather. We have had at least 20 to 25 of those 3 to 5 pounders come in so far which still means 80 plus or minus of those big boys are still out there waiting to be caught. Anglers have seen good results with a wide variety of different baits and lures and flies. There was nothing that really stuck out this week as the bait or lure of choice as everything that went into the water seemed to produce nice results. Berkley Garlic, Rainbow Glitter Garlic, Gulp Pinch Worms, Mice Tails and worms have been steady as has the ever consistent Thomas Buoyant Gold/Red. Look for DFW to put in another 800 pounds early in the week and another load of Desert Springs fish to come in a week to two weeks. Fishing should stay consistent over the next month as we are expecting lots of fish, big and little, to be put into the Silver Lake.

Happy Fishing and We Will See You at The Lake!!!
