Bass: Bass fishing has been strong at DVL. There has been a good morning bite swimbaits in the marina. During the remainder of the day bass have been holding between 30- 50 feet on the points and along the dams. The best methods to get the deeper fish has been trolling cranks with downriggers or lead core, ice jigging, or Carolina rigging six inch plastics, brush hogs and lizards. There have been many reports of bass being caught in much shallower water than previous weeks. Bass have been chasing trout around the shoreline fishing area and have been hunting bait fish close to the surface. This has lead to many catches on crawdads, Ikas, and Senkos.????

Ted Wilson of Chino got 4 bass weighing 15 pounds while being guided by Art Hill. He was fishing with jigs and worms in Rawson cove.????

Those who have had luck have been catching the recent stockers using Power Bait, mini jigs, Lip Ripperz, rooster tails, and Kastmasters.
