This fish report is from Pete Hillis, reporting out of Pedro's Pangas, San Quintin, Baja Mexico for the week ending May 14, 2009.
The weather has been great all week except for Friday. The wind came from the south for one day which the captains think is a good sign. Two boats out--both boats came for bottom fish and weren't disappointed. Big reds, lings, and white fish. Hope for better report next week.

The winds in San Quintin, which are notoriously famous during the months of March, April and May, kept most of the boats in during the week. But in a phone report this morning, Captain Hector reports the winds finally subsided today. Boats that did get out fished the 240 spot for a lot of large bonita and usual limits of rock cod and ling cod. Because the winds have died down, I hope for a better fish...... Read More

This fish report is from Pete Hillis reporting out of Pedro's Pangas, San Quintin, Baja Mexico for the week ending March 20, 2009. Mostly rock cod and ling cod were brought in this week. Big catches for all. Notables were Charles Beck and Ed Armstrong from Los Angeles, and Mickey Tague from Las Vegas who are all members of the King Harbor Yacht Club. They caught limits plus of large reds, white fish, and some good size...... Read More
