The bass population is scattered from 5’ to 40’ all over the lake, and have been biting drop shot, Texas rigs, as well as rip baits, and small swimbaits.  Some handsome Bluegill have been coming out of the Barona Arm, and the south shoreline.  Split shotted red worms, and mealworms was reportedly the best way to go for the panfish.

The lake reopened this past Thursday to a decent bass bite. Early morning has many fish schooled up, and chasing bait in open water. Small swimbaits, rip baits, top waters, and spoons all worked on these fish. Later in the morning, Texas rigs, and drop shot fished in 30' to 40' of water seemed to be the best bet.
