Trout plants continue at Lake Pardee with 1000 pounds of Calaveras Trout Farm rainbows 250 pounds released last Friday, and the total for this season will be over 44,000 pounds.  The trout are being caught presently from the shoreline and the woodpile with Power Eggs, trout dough with garlic scent, or nightcrawlers.
Boaters on the troll are taking some nice to 3 1/2 pounds at 65 foot depths dragging Speedy Shiners on the South end of the impoundment. Kokanee are scarce with few fishermen targeting them.  The bass fishing has very good casting plastics in green or maroon on the drop shot from 10 to 30 foot depths. Also, the Robo Worm Margarita Mutilator has been an effective pattern. There are good numbers of both smallmouth and large mouth bass. The lake has dropped slightly to 97% of capacity.

Take time to go out and enjoy a day in the great outdoors. If fishing the big waters check out the weather conditions before venturing out.Until next tide stay safe to fish another day.
